Carissa Gaughran is a singer, dancer and actor originally from New Jersey. She had the opportunity to start training early on, as her family owns two dance studios. She now teaches at her family's Dance studio and absolutely has a passion for teaching the next generation. Carissa was most recently on the Pretty Woman First National Tour. She understudied the title role Vivian Ward that played opposite Adam Pascal. The tour was directed by Tony Award winning Jerry Mitchel. Carissa took over the role of Vivian Ward for a limited engagement when the lead was out on injury. Leading a company was one of the most rewarding experiences to date. Before performing professionally, Carissa was a work-study at Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City for 6 years. At 18 years old Carissa sailed on Norwegian Cruise Line for two years. She was a Principal Vocalist and dancer on the ship in 2016 and 2017. She was in the Original Cast of "Blazing Boots" on Norwegian Cruise Line choreographed by Chase Benz. After ship life, she began performing in regional theatre across the country. Carissa has a large social media presence with over 200,000+ followers on TikTok. She absolutely loves sharing her passion for Music and Theatre with everyone.
