"If you are a dance lover, run — don’t walk or tap — to the Fulton Theatre, where “Sophisticated Ladies” will make your heart soar."

                                               -LancasterOnline 2019

"The eleven-person ensemble delights with their rapid-fire versatility, moving among dance and song styles, and creating cameo characterizations in each of the segments. Carissa Gaughran shines in several spotlight moments, especially in her beautiful vocal rendition of "In My Solitude."                         -Broadway World 2019

"This glamorous show-stopping production of Sophisticated Ladies celebrates a jazz legend with a name that has stood the test of time. Duke Ellington’s musical expression captivates audiences with his stylish big-band sound. Relive the days with such hits as “Take the ‘A’ Train,” “I Got It Bad and That Ain’t Good,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)” and the title song “Sophisticated Ladies.” This lavish musical extravaganza features spectacular dancing, outstanding vocals, and an onstage big band that will transport you back to the era when big band was “The Thing.”                                                                    -Kyle Malinosky 2019

"It is hard to pick one scene that is better than another since there is so much dancing, however “Satin Doll/Just Squeeze Me” in Scene 4 stood out with some great couples dancing and singing featuring Braithwaite and Gaughran.

"Three acclaimed choreographers, Broadway's Mark Stuart, Broadway's Kenny Ingram and Lancaster's own Marc Robin, have joined to make this one memorable celebration!"

                                                                    -Broadway World 2019

"Even if you’re not into the big band style, I promise the cast’s talent will still impress you. They are phenomenal singers and dancers who have an infectious energy."

"Standouts from the remaining dozen singers and dancers include Allie Pizzo and her incredible tap dancing in “Kinda Dukish” and Carissa Gaughran’s sultry singing of “Satin Doll/Just Squeeze Me.” Not a single player is out of step."
